Duplex URD cable integrates phase and neutral. Reduces trenching workload. XLPE insulated, direct burial 90°C.
Application
ICEA S-105-692 / ANSI/ICEA S-81-570 duplex secondary URD cable (600V) for underground secondary distribution from pad-mounted transformer to single-family residential meter base. Two 1350-H19 aluminum conductors (phase + neutral). XLPE insulation 90°C. May be directly buried in earth or installed in duct, in wet or dry locations.
Core Strengths
Standard single-conductor URD cables require two trenches for phase and neutral, doubling installation labor. Our duplex URD integrates both conductors in one assembly, reducing trenching and backfilling workload. XLPE insulated, direct burial rated 90°C.
