220kV Porcelain Insulation Outdoor Termination
Application
This porcelain-terminated cable accessory is designed for high-voltage transmission systems and is compatible with cable cross-sections from 240 mm² to 2500 mm², with a maximum system voltage of 252 kV.
It is particularly suited for outdoor installations in areas with high contamination levels, such as coastal, industrial, and high-humidity zones.
Installation Requirements:
Must be installed vertically; angled or inverted installation is not permitted.
Connectors available in either compression type or shear bolt type.
For outdoor terminations, the customer should provide site support, including scaffolding, shelters, and hoisting equipment for casing installation.

Construction
This high-voltage termination adopts a high-strength porcelain housing, offering outstanding mechanical durability, stability, and resistance to aging. It is especially suitable for coastal regions and harsh environmental conditions.
The design incorporates a large-and-small umbrella skirt configuration, proven through testing to deliver excellent resistance to pollution and contamination. The termination is engineered with robust sealing performance to prevent issues such as water ingress, oil leakage, and other potential defects.
Two size configurations are available:
1280 mm height, 3150 mm creepage distance – suitable for Pollution Level III areas.
1400 mm height, 3906 mm creepage distance – suitable for Pollution Level IV areas.
