IEC 60502-2 three-core STA cable (3.6/6kV to 18/30kV) for industrial plants, power distribution, street lighting, and direct burial requiring strong mechanical protection. Steel tape armor provides crush resistance and rodent protection.

Conductor: Stranded copper (class 2)

Conductor screen: Semiconductive layer

Insulation: XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene)

Insulation screen: Semiconductive layer

Filler: Polypropylene (PP) or PVC filler

Inner covering: PVC or PE bedding

Armor: Steel tape (STA – galvanized steel tape)

Outer sheath: PVC or PE (type ST2)

Rated voltage: 6kV to 30kV (Uo/U up to 18/30kV)

XLPE insulation – 90°C continuous, 250°C short‑circuit

Steel tape armor (STA) – excellent crush resistance and rodent protection

Three‑core design – no eddy current losses, suitable for AC circuits

Ideal for industrial plants, power distribution, street lighting, direct burial

Installation: direct burial, ducts, cable trays, or underground tunnels
