Application
ASTM B231 all-aluminum conductor (AAC) for overhead primary and secondary distribution lines, sub-service spans at distribution or utilization voltages on towers/wood poles. 1350-H19 aluminum alloy, concentric-lay-stranded. Suitable for extra-high-voltage transmission where high tensile strength is not required.
Core Strengths
Overhead secondary lines needing economical bare conductors with good corrosion resistance. Our AAC is the lightest overhead conductor, easy to install, and uses simpler fittings. Homogeneous 1350-H19 aluminum resists corrosion without steel core. ASTM B231.
