Application
Soft aluminum tie wire (6063 grade or equivalent) for bundling and securing bare overhead conductors to pole top and crossarm insulators in overhead power distribution systems. Used to attach conductors to pin/post insulators, strap cables to crossarm brackets, and for general LV line tie-in applications. Annealed aluminum for high malleability and easy hand forming without tool marks. UV resistant. Also serves as overhead line repair binding.
